    • ENCINITAS FRIDAY NIGHT SALSA CLASSES! Every Friday night is a real happening at the Performing Arts Workshop dance studio in Encinitas. It is being called the largest ongoing weekly salsa class in Southern California! Come see why any Friday night. And sign up for our FREE weekly e-Newsletter! This class has been featured in the San Diego Union Tribune and other print media, and featured on various Internet sites as maybe the best salsa dance class in San Diego! Partners not necessary, though many come with partners. (There are always lots of single folks.) It's no coincidence this class is so popular! Taught by former Jerome Robbins Broadway dancers Tony and Maria Caligagan, the class has anywhere from 50-80 people showing up each week. This user-friendly class happens in an easy-going learning environment. Very supportive, very inclusive. Learning to dance salsa really does not get any better (or more fun) than this class. Friday nights in Encinitas are a real happening, and it's not just about the salsa! Come check it out and see how great it feels to dance to salsa music! And if you're a little nervous about trying salsa, remember the wonderful quote by French writer Anais Nin: "Life shrinks and expands in proportion to one's courage." It's $12 for both the Basics and Intermediate classes (that's $12 total!). There's an additional $10 if you're staying for the more challenging Advanced Choreography Class.
